This industrial revolution, in particular, is driven by the advancement of technology and artificial intelligence. With the advent of AI, there are now a lot of questions to be asked in relation to the first industrial revolution. The first industrial revolution was due to the rising wages and certain scientific discoveries like the steam engine. The availability of fuel such as coal also played a big part as it was going to be the main source of energy for this growth.

Before the twenty-first century, there were many attempts to develop artificial intelligence. These attempts ended in failure mainly due to the technological limitations of that time. At that time the people developing artificial intelligence did not have access to the powerful computers and chips that we use nowadays. The second industrial revolution is in full swing due to the availability of advanced technology.

The effects of the second industrial revolution

The second industrial revolution is already occurring right now. It is occurring due to a number of factors and the biggest factor is the advancement of technology. Its effects are already being seen as certain jobs that used to be conducted by humans are now being conducted by machines. However, a lot of analysts have stated that humans will be able to derive an income whilst using machines for most of their work.
