Outcome of the 2018 European Digital Marketing Survey
The result of European Digital Marketing Survey 2018 performed among marketer all over Europe by Salesmanago is out.
One of the most interesting findings of the recently conducted European Digital Marketing Survey shows that out of 100% only 48% of the marketing related activities were rated as good or very good by the marketers.
According to 63% of the marketers who took this survey recognizing lead generation is the main challenge. The survey showed that SEO, company blogs and online promotion are among the most commonly used techniques whereas, the least touched techniques include bots, AL and machine learning.
Digital Marketing department still struggling for recognition
Greg Blazewicz who is the CEO of Salesmanago, which is a European marketing automation forum and which conducted the 2018 European Digital Marketing Survey says, “Despite the fact that more and more marketing people get promoted to company boards, the reality is that most marketing departments still struggle to be recognized as important players in organizations.”
He further stated,

Other Results of the survey
- In order to measure the performance of digital marketing 38% of the marketers use Google Analytics
- 60% of the marketers are pondering upon improvising personalized strategies for their customers in the coming month
- According to 38% of marketers the main way to communicate with the customer is by using email marketing
- In order to keep pace with the technological change 42% of the marketers are planning to remold their strategies
Nearly 350 marketers filled the 2028 European Digital Marketing Survey which was conducted on May 2018.
